Workday Professional Services Automation
Workday Professional Services Automation is a great tool that holds all of our company files, our HR and onboarding information, payroll, and benefits. I love how easy it is to access any of these files and how much time it saves us. It's just as easy to update any of the information too. I also like that we have a full project lifecycle from start to finish because it helps us see what is going on with the project and where it is in the process.

Workday Professional Services Automation Review
It is the heart of our Human Capital Management. It provides complete automation for all processes from search and selection to onboarding. It also provides Leave of Absence, performance management, benefits management, and all day-to-day employee operations so that they can be managed with excellence. Especially during pandemic circumstances, paperless processes and automated workflows helped a lot during an onboarding period.

Workday
Workday is used to automate onboarding documentation, people management documentation and employment verification information. Workday houses our employee personnel files. All team members have full access their documents, status or requests from the supervisors, etc. It also holds all payroll information, benefits, etc.

Workday - A solid choice
Expansive online HR and payroll platform. Currently used to process payroll including salary changes and additional compensation, manage employee info, onboarding (completing new employee forms), generating employee/payroll related reports, time and absence tracking (clocking in and out, requesting time off, etc.), and tangentially used in relation to benefits and performance review.

- System has quirks when an employee is terminated then rehired within a short span of time
- Sometimes system doesn’t delegate tasks to correct departments/person for approval

Workday works just fine
My organization currently uses Workday for most of our Human Resource related functions. It houses all of our personal employee information related to our roles. The most important aspect of Workday currently for our company is in relation to our internal review process, as well as goal setting and assessment.

Great visibility into paid time off
We primarily use Workday as an HRIS. For me specifically, I primarily use it to request time off work and view my vacation time balances. I'm able to send my requests to management and see when they approve the request. The main problem that it addresses is visibility into PTO and Sick time so I can see my balance and request the time needed.

- Would like to be able to use it for clocking in and out
- The dashboard user interface could be improved to include more pertinent information

In our organization, Workday Professional Services Automation is a tool focused on the individual control of each employee. There we can upload our personal and contact data, receive payment receipts, upload our skills, see our salary changes, claims with HR, manage and monitor our KPIs, as well as information on our benefits as an employee.

- Nested information, sometimes it is painful to try to find information
- A better way to download attached files
Workday [Professional Services Automation] is used on a daily basis for accurate timekeeping and time management, as well as learning modules to help learn tools needed for job position.

- The Reports and Tasks Page is sometimes hard to read/understand, a short informational module may help with figuring out layout/ what common reports do
- Could use options to add filters to search ,as searching certain keywords can result in unneeded results
- With Time off options, would be helpful to be able to select exact hours rather than just period of time.

Workday is great for managing "human resources"!
Workday is used company-wide at our organization. Every employee is managed in the Workday system. It is a fantastic platform for managing employee pay, benefits, and professional relationships. Workday makes it easy for employees to access their "human resources" in a self-serve manner. This is a great time-save by cutting down on simple communications between employees and their managers/HR.
- Consolidated data resource. Allows Workday to be the authority for pay and benefits.
- Advanced automation for administrators.
- Self-serve for employees. Allows users to self manage their information.
- At times the user interface feels clunky and slow.
- Organization of the web application feels unintuitive. Can often be hard to find what you're looking for.
- Honestly, not much else! It's a solid platform.
